If you’re interested in taking part in the Pudsey Scarecrow Festival, we’d love to have you! Below you will find our application form for traders, as part of your application we ask for information such as your insurance certificates and food hygiene certificates where applicable.

    For a valid application, we need to see appropriate documentation for your business. This should include public liability insurance, food hygiene and anything else relevant to your application.

    1. The Pudsey Scarecrow Festival will take place at Pudsey Park. The event will take place Sunday the 1st of September, 2024 and operates from 10am until 4pm.
    2. Stalls are priced as follows: Charity / Community Group £10, Trader £25, Hot Food Vendor £50.
    3. The deadline for applying for a trader place is Sunday 30th June
    4. If your application is successful we will provide information on how to submit your payment.
    5. All traders will be expected to be setup and ready to trade at the very latest 30 minutes prior to the start time.
    6. Traders will be given vehicular access to allow time for setup, there will be no vehicle movement permitted during the event times stated above.
    7. At all times during the event, the event will have organisers and stewards on hand to assist where required. You must abide by any instructions provided to you by the organisers and stewards at all times.
    8. All traders will be provided a space to trade. You must not, at any time, encroach on the surrounding areas or stalls.
    9. The space provided to you must be used only for the purposes you have detailed on your application form. We use the data provided to determine who will and will not be permitted to trade on the day to limit competition between traders.
    10. The stall holder accepts responsibility for the staff working on their stall, and visiting public browsing your stall. You must be able to provide evidence of Public Liability Insurance when requested.
    11. Where applicable, you must be registered with your local Environmental Health department and also comply with the Food Hygiene Regulations 2006.
    12. Pudsey Scarecrow Festival traders will be required to manage their own waste, including not allowing it to build up and disposing of it at the end of the event. Bins in the event area are for public use only.
    13. Please be aware that as the event operates from a public space, no power is available. Traders that require power will be expected to provide their own generators. We ask that you only bring Diesel powered generators.
    14. Traders bringing children to the event must ensure that they are supervised at all times for their safety.
    15. By completing this application, you agree to Pudsey Scarecrow Festival using your business name and business activities for advertising purposes. This can include Social Media, Website, Print Media or any other legitimate purpose.
    16. Finally, by completing and submitting this form you agree to provide your personal information to the organisers of the Pudsey Scarecrow Festival. Your data will be held in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulations. Your information is required to allow us to process your application, and provide additional information ahead of the day should you be approved. We do not pass any data provided to third parties.
